Photos From my Shows at Teddy’s Burger Joint

October 18th, 2010

HDR Photo

After many weeks of anticipation, I finally got to perform at Teddy’s Burger Joint, a new restaurant here on the South side of Indianapolis. They opened on Thursday, and I played from 7-10pm on Friday and Saturday nights. It was a lot of fun, and the food was good! I didn’t get any video, but there were plenty of people snapping pictures, including my wife’s iPhone and a photographer who was taking some crazy HDR photos on the first night. On Saturday, Christophe Cheval took some great photos with his camera.

Thanks to everyone who made it out, and in case you missed it, I’ll be playing there again on Friday, November 5th from 7-10pm. I hope to see you there, and I dare you to take on the Maverick Burger (it’s 8 lbs).

Kars for a Kause Recap

September 22nd, 2010

Last Sunday, September 19th, I performed at the 2010 Kars for a Kause car show in Seymour, Indiana. My Dad is in a group called Time Turners, and they host this event every year, with proceeds going to local charities.

It’s always nice playing in my home town, and this show was a lot of fun. We set up right in front of the empty city pool, and thanks to my friend Shawn and his Dad, we had a great PA setup. The best thing about the day for me though was that I got to watch my niece Brilyn perform in front of a large crowd for the first time. She has been teaching herself guitar for a while now, and every time I hear her she gets better and better.

She also played:

I’m glad they had a great turn out, and hopefully they raised lots of money for charity. A big thanks to all those who came, and a very special thanks to Shawn and Scott for donating/setting up the PA.

Here are just a few photos from the day.
